RE: Thnk Mickey traded his magic dust for .....

It is all personal choice.............there are some on here that won't stay at any CG other than the $12/ night state or national parks.

RE: 2008 Dodge Ram Headlights Flickering?

Yours came with it............they all do.
All Cummins even have the block heater installed.............but Dodge doesn't give you the stupid cord to plug it in. You have to buy the cord from the dealer or a local Cummins shop.

RE: How to lose 100 gallons of water!

Yeah, I wouldn't let water sit in the tank for long periods of time.
The microorganisms and bacteria will grow......

RE: Sundance 2800 RLS

The Sundance isn't even in the same class as a Cameo or Hitchhiker.....
You need to figure out what you need in a fiver before considering those three.
Sundance is more of a mid-level trailer, where the other 2 are higher end.

RE: Diesel Truck

The payload on a new Dodge is exactly 111 lbs LESS on a dually than a single rear wheel. Payload on a SRW is 3421 lbs, a DRW is 3310.
This is right off the Dodge towing guide website.
The dually gives more stability, not capacity.

RE: Interior wall paper is bubbling and bubbles are hard

I have the exact same thing on my 2008 Wildcat.........mine wasn't in the slide though.
I had it to the dealer and they found a water leak at the trim that holds the rubber roof edge.
It is going in October to have the interior paneling replaced.

We will be there on Saturday. Staying at Eagle's Peak so we have about 1/2 hour drive.
Frank
We'll be at Eagle's Peak also........site 273. Not sure if I'll make the show or not. Weather isn't looking so good for an outdoor show so far.

RE: Overnight - Why stuck on WalMart - think out of the box

People tend to forget that all public places with parking lots are fair game also.
All the Wal-marts local to us have posted signs that say NO overnight parking......and we are a suburban/rural area.

RE: Do Wildcat slideouts leak?

We picked up our Wildcat 32QBBS Friday before the Labor Day weekend and camped Hershey's Highmeadows the same weekend (the trip is about an hour so this was a nice shakedown). After set-up we observed wetness on the carpet on the back edge of the master bedroom slide. We also observed that the trim piece on the slide fascia was stained along the edge adjoining the wet carpet. It would be speculative of me to assume the slide was leaking but it is certain that water made ingress through some mechanism. Our unit is back at the dealer for adjustments to address this and a couple of other minor issues. (Anyone have opinions on slide awnings as ours does not currently have them...?)
As for buying the Wildcat, kind of early to say but we're cautiously optimistic at this time based on our experiences and those we've spoken with.
If your dealer is Stoltzfus RV in Adamstown, I would look somewhere else to get it fixed.
Ask Terry in Service if he ever got the "Three Amigos" fivers fixed....three of us bought '08 32QBBS from them and all have more time sitting on their lot waiting for repairs than we have camping time in them.
Mine is currently at Tom Schaeffers trying to determine if it is worth fixing the wall panels and replacing the carpet and padding, or sending it back to the factory. 1 from our group is already scheduled to go back to the factory to be fixed in October.
With that said, we still love the floorplan, but if they replace mine with a new '09, I will most likely trade it for something else.

The picture in that link is exactly where I put mine also.......I just don't have the shifter in mine.

RE: Thanks Island Resort CG... Berlin MD

We were there several times since they opened and enjoy it every time.
I have heard complaints from several people, but mostly because of all the rules that Island Resort has in place.
IMO, it keeps the place quiet and clean.

My Garmin Nuvi 350 has a truck setting as well as a bus setting.
Doesn't really seem tomake a difference in most cases.
